DSLR Video Shooter

Thank you so much! I needed a crash course on this camera for a gig, and this saved me so much time. Your lessons are really clear and straightforward, and so well-priced compared to a lot of other videography courses out there. I love this camera too. I think you do a great job of not just explaining the how, but also the WHY, which is really important. After this I've been able to be way more flexible in different shooting situations, and think a little more creatively even on the fly since I understand the functions and how to be more efficient with this camera. I've been shooting on the Gh4 for a few years. I got started with some good training from another online source. As I contemplate going to the GH5 or GH5s, I thought I would go back to basics and see what my habits have been hiding from me. It's been revealing to go through Caleb's course material and see lots of things that would have saved me time and trouble, plus a real perspective of a very experienced shooter. Many thanks-

I recently bought a GH4 - and was totally confused with all of the settings. My early videos were mostly crap. Since had gone this far to invest in the GH4 as well as a lens that cost more than the camera - I needed to learn. Part of that learning curve is just through practicing by using the camera - but I still needed help. This course provided that additional help. The course goes way beyond the basics - including audio options, rigging and much more. This all helped too. I can't think of the last time I actually spent $ on any online course - but I did it with this course and consider it a small investment given the payoff. I'm already doing things with my GH4 that were beyond my capability a couple weeks ago. One note - the course did convince me to spend additional dollars on many cool additional pieces of equipment - but that was my choice. The course clearly states that you don't need to run out and buy everything - and unless you're in certain specialized situations he indicates you just won't need much of it. Thanks!

I bought this guide when I first bought my GH4 because I trust Caleb's Youtube Channel and the advice that he gives. This guide did not disappoint. I was able to break the guide up and watch it over the weekend with my new GH4 in front of me following along the whole time. The following week I used my GH4 for the first time on location and I felt confident and comfortable with the camera. Since that time I have continually gone back to the guide to brush up on settings and gear that I don't use as frequently, it's easy to find the sectionI'm looking for and watch the video for a quick refresher. If you buy a Panasonic GH4 this guide is a must-have!

I really like the course. I am novice and sometime he uses terminology I have to research to fully understand. I wish there was a lighting section.

I've been following Caleb for a while now and love his work on Youtube. I purchased this guide with the hope that I could get some insight on vlog operation and how he works with vlog. I guess this guide was made before Panasonic released the vlog firmware and so it was a little disappointing to find that the guide did not cover this topic. But all in all, this was a superb guide nonetheless. I also puchased the GH5 guide as I am contemplating on picking up a GH5s in the next few months.
